Join Compassion NYC and Buddhist Global Relief on our second Rolling Retreat to Washington, D.C. This time, we roll for justice–racial justice. The march will bring attention to the injustices around policing, racism in the criminal justice system, separate and unequal education, economic and political disenfranchisement, redlining, gerrymandering and more. The march also calls on us to speak out against attacks on civil rights protections for those in the LGBTQ community, the normalization of rape culture, misogyny and unequal pay for equal work, continued theft and desecration of Native lands, environmental exploitation, the results of which greatly affect communities of color. We march against all forms of victimization and dehumanization perpetuated by white supremacy and racism.

NOTE: We have only ONE bus and cannot guarantee another, so if you want to attend this Rolling Retreat, please do not wait. Tickets are available on a sliding scale. To ensure that everyone who wants to join can, we’re allowing participation according to POC/non-POC status. This is not to exclude anyone, but to ensure we include as many people as possible who want to attend the retreat. If, 7 days before the retreat, there are still many spaces left, we will release them to all demographics.
Bus will depart at 6 am sharp from 34th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues, in front of Macy’s
